The last in the Poppy series, this one shows a bit more of the green in the foliage and not so much of the orange tinge from all the wildfire smoke we had this summer. I tried to transplant some of these amazing poppies in my own yard but turns out after some research they don't like to be moved so I will continue to enjoy them on the Knowles Studio grounds. The poppies are all gone now but you can still see my representation of them on canvas by coming to Arts in the Woods! Our yearly studio tour sponsored by the good folks at the Cultural Arts Foundation Northwest who fund great events like this one and also provide many scholarships and grants to artists in our area.
